South Korean consumer electronics giant, Samsung Electronics Co Ltd announced on Monday that it would open an online store for smartphone applications, following the overwhelming success of the iPhone App Store . At Hot Chips this past week, Intel's Rajesh Patel revealed more details of the chipmaker's upcoming Moorestown platform.
