With Apples new firmware for the iPhone & iTouch, 3.1.2 can still be jailbroken. However, it maybe jailbroken but not unlocked. This latest version of the iTouch (3g) have also been jailbroken as long as you have a 32/64GB product. The 8GB product will only work if the model number begins with the code, MC not MB. At an event in London, Acer just announced the first ever 1GHz Snapdragon-based Android Phone – the Acer Liquid A1. The name is a bit confusing as the company referred to the phone as the A1 on stage but published a press release announcing the launch of their complete line of Android Phones called Acer Liquid. So I’m assuming this falls into line with other “lines” like the Omnia, Instinct, Xperia, etc…. brand name model number. So until further notice… the Acer Liquid A1! October 6th. is the big day for Windows Mobile 6.5. We had heard that Verizon ( NYSE: VZ ), AT&T ( NYSE: T ) and Sprint ( NYSE: S ) would be on board for the update, but had heard little in regards to what devices specifically they would be offering (although manufacturers have been happy to throw in their support ). We dig the idea Toshiba (OTCPK: TOSBF) is working on the TG01 successor, or other models that will complement the all-touchscreen offering. In that sense, we’ve spotted the TG02 and TG02 models on a roadmap and even in some “in the wild” photos. Now we have one more proof for the first of the two upcoming devices – TG02. It has been spotted at the Wi-Fi Alliance website. There we found a document which says that the phone has the model number TM5-E01, indicating this is the same phone we’ve seen
