Report: Sony developing handheld device for gaming and more

The success of smartphones like the iPhone and the Droid platform has not gone unnoticed by the two handheld console makers. Nintendo has already identified Apple as their major competition and now a report from the Wall Street Journal says that Sony is developing a multi-purpose handheld gaming device to compete.
