The iPhone's UI is fast and smooth enough that you want to browse the web on it. However the device is cramped enough that you don’t want use it for any serious web browsing. HTC and Motorola provided an alternative: increase the screen size of their smartphones. Dell took it one step further, and for some reason called it the Streak.

Google has updated Gmail for iPad with some much welcome UI refresh. While working with multiple emails and performing batch operations like archiving or deteting, Gmail now uses CSS3 transitions to present a 'stacked cards' UI metaphor to show you the mails being affected by that batch operation.

The video captured from an online survey shows us the changes Nokia might have made to the MeeGo mobile OS. This version seems to be smartphone specific. The one minute, twenty-nine seconds of footage walks us through five parts that are starting up, the “powerful multitasking UI,” getting connected, the Ovi Store experience, and the music player.
